How about this one. I can see the comp was not the greatest. Here I have the columns as a frame. It's a little further back but give a little more sense of size. There is more on the sides that "fills" the view.

Notre-Dame-de-Bonsecours Church, Old Montreal

This was the church proper. Susan and I went to church here. There was only 10 people in attendance. It was very nice. This was an old sailors church.

Rue St. Paul Street, Old Montreal

They had the streets decorated for Christmas and the clear skies made for a nice deep blue. The domed building is the Market Square were ships would unload and trade would be completed.

Notre-Dame-de-Bonsecours Church, Old Montreal

This is the church Susan and I went too. We got lucky, Saturday Mass is said in English. Also, the good father was from Detriot.

Montreal, Quebec

Hey, Susan and I made it back safe and sound from Montreal. We had a wonderful time. Mark Twain was correct when he said, "you can't throw a rock in Montreal without hitting a church." This is the alter in Notre Dame Basilica. It was beautiful. Susan and I were going to go to church here but we ended up at Notre-Dame-de-Bonsecours Church in Old Montreal.
