In Case of Emergency, Lock up the medicine

Just a reminder, if necessary, Vicki does have experience with dimentia. She is very willing to lend a hand. We all knew there was a problem, but this is getting serious.

Not FAIR!

Awwwwwwwww..... Not Fair!

What did you give the kids? Hey, Eric and Craig, I don't see either one of you in on this! No defence for your Mum and Da?

Mum

Presents for the kids?

So did Isabelle and Christian get their gifts from us? Make sure those still aren't in the trunk!

Hmmmmmmmm

Hmmmmmm...............
Jamie forgot, too! ):

Really can't think of any really good reason that we "misplaced" the gift in the trunk. Dad's always saying that the house is such a mess that we can't find anything. Well, maybe it has overflowed to his car! No excuses except maybe dementia. Hmmmmm........ Craig and Jamie, don't worry about us moving to the cities. Dad said he will never move again. But I'm willing!!

Brett does look proud, though, doesn't he? By the way, everyone. I have all ready bought one of Brett's Christmas gifts for this year 2008. don't let me forget it!

Enough for tonight. I am still lucid and will go to work tomorrow. And many more after that!!):

Good Night, Everyone! Love to all, Mom

Homes in Saint Paul

Just a heads up that now Craig and Jaime live close together in Saint Paul, mom and dad can come down every month and alternate between both kids since you are in the same town. it could be worse mom said she might have purchased the house across from us if they hadn't already moved.

So good luck to Craig and Jaime as they get to know their parents again on a monthly basis.

Christmas for Brett in February

Thank You Brent for the the Christmas gift. My wonderful and quick minded parents found your gift in the trunk in a bag probably behind the spare tire. Sooo, Brent thanks again for the luggage tags and the jacket/shirt it is very nice of you to get theses for me this past Christmas of 2007.

To the rest of the kids please mail or ship presents as the dementia is starting to set in for our parents. As the last one here in Fargo I will ask for help from the rest of you in helping mom and dad in their older years. As I always tell them remember who will be pushing down the stairs, oooops, street int heir age.

It is good to be me and receive Christmas in February. I am sure that there are more gifts hidden and we will have to wait until 2009 to get theses because they might forget.

Sorry

Sorry, Jamie. We all know that your chili is the best. Maybe their taste buds are frozen! (Everything else is right now) Just like everyone here, I'm so sick of this cold, fridgid weather. But watching the lunar eclipse tonight is fun. Leaving the sample taste really was tacky. I would have at least thrown it away. So what was the winning chili like?

Chili-off results

So I didn't even place in the top three. Oh well. I was mad in the beginning because my crockpot wasn't plugged in - it got cold! Being the competitor I am, I frantically found a power cord and plugged it in. Unfortunately, one person disliked it so much they left their sample cup behind. Lame! It was pretty good I thought.

Today is the annual chili-off

So today is the annual chili-off at the Humphrey Institute (where I work). Last year I won so we'll see what happens today. I'm not feeling too confident - it's good but not memorable. Wish me luck! I posted my winning photo from last year.

Another Tournament Down!

Christian's team attended another tournament this Saturday in Hawley, MN. Not great news to report since they lost the first game, won the second game and lost the third. They took 6th but Christian said it was fun. That is really why he is playing the game.

The Isanti Nilles' are Moving to St. Paul!

Hello everyone,

This is our first post on the site, but we have some exciting news. Vicki and I have found a house, and have successfully purchased it. Unfortunately, we don't have any pictures that we can find. The house is a two bedroom one bath bungalo. And it's a good thing we don't have any pictures because the roof, which is being repaired as we speak, is sagging a lot in the pictures we had. It has an unfinished dormer that will become a master suite in the next couple of years and a finished basement that is a perfect rec room. The furnace is also 40+ years old and looks like a 1930's movie theater, but that also is being replaced and updated. We move in on March 14th!!! It's now less than a month away. Vicki is going to stay in Isanti and I will stay at the house in St. Paul to try and conserve about 70 miles worth of gas a day!! We are very excited and look forward to having people over and using our formal dining room and buffet. We will try and get some pictures in the next couple of weeks to post, but in the meantime, your imagination (sorry Brett) will have to do. And by the way, Eric......you're an ASS!!

Have a Great Weekend!!!!!!

Here's another one.

Wanda is now official OLD!

I turned 38 on Feb. 4th, went to the eye doctor and found out I need glasses. Not only glasses but bi-focals. O.K. stop laughing, I am having a hard time adjusting and Brett is starting to call me four eyes which gives me great self esteem. After all that I think I am still taking him with me to pick out glasses. I will post you all the fabulous results. Just remember for the ones who have not hit this magical year you will be next. Have a warm day, we are not. :)

Happy Valentine's Day and Vick Happy Birthday.

Think Spring!

Ok. That's good. I can almost feel the heat. I had to feed the birds again today. I just filled three bird feeders yesterday and when I got home they were all empty!! Little buggers must have been cold. Didn't go out for noon recess again today. Wind Chill was -33!! There was so much sugar in the school today, you could smell it in the halls. They all went home high! But we'll get them all back tomorrow. But their parents have to deal with them tonight. He-He- He..

I think I got this part down. Now I have to figure out the picture thing.

Love, Mom

Ok...how about this one?

Hi, Everyone!

Well, we need some more summer pics tonight, Eric. It's snowing here again. I think we've gotten about 4 or 5 inches and it's still snowing!! It's suppose to get windy and really drop again in temp. We're talking actual temp -30!! This is the weekend Dick and Audrey come down. Suppose to warm up to 15 above on Saturday. At least the stores should be warm.

Happy Valentine's Day Everyone :) !!!!!! :)

OK, that's my card for Y'al. I used to make a valentine cake when you were all home. Then I'd
make a cake for Brett's birthday, too. We ate lot's of cake in February.

Have a warm and safe day Thursday. Happy Birthday, Vicki!! :)

To help with the cold.

I thought it would be nice to help all of you in the "Frozen Tundra of Lambu Field!" Should be Fargo but "Lambu Field" sound better. Think of setting next to a quiet lake sipping a Pepsi or Coke or Mountaion Dew. Mountain Dew would be perfect for this one. Just enjoy.
