Three (almost) indestructable birds

So Brent and I had dinner at Craig and Vicki's last Saturday and were introduced to three birds they met earlier in the day. While removing some bushes from the front of their house, they discovered a birds nest, with three baby birds still in it. They couldn't have been more than three days old. Even though we think we saw the mama bird trying to rebuild the nest up in a tree, the babies couldn't survive the storm that came that night. One bird might have made it, but it's unclear. The cool thing - we think it was baby cardinals, but cardinals and a robin were working together helping each other out. So the "neighbor" came out to help rebuild!
