Fargo Flood 2009

Hi everyone- I have a moment until the next sandbagging tonight.

This is a picture of Oxbow on Wednesday night around 6 pm. Christian and I assisted in sandbagging. The streets were flooded already and the homes were in extreme danger. You would not believe how Christian stepped up and even though he was tired and cold continued to work into the night. He has not once said I can't and has assisted us in the fight everday this week. No questions or complaints and he gets up and puts on his old clothes and we head out the door.
Thanks for all your prayers and concerns. We are currently fine but are awaiting the crest and the long wait until the crest will be over...which is not projected 4-8 days at a level of 42-43 feet.

Last Tournament for the Year!

For the last tournament Christian wanted his hair shaved and then have his number shaved into the back of his head. They lost the first two games but then pulled out the last game in overtime and won. We will see what next year brings. We may move on to swimming matches or tennis matches. (Sidebar- Eric I love my new lens but I need help using it properly).

Where's Brett?

Brett received the opportunity to be ref. for NDSU football this Fall. It was an exciting and fun scrimmage. Try to find Brett (it is pretty easy). Assignment Nilles family, I am asking for pictures of past or current. Theme "What's new or old?". Let's see your posts in the next couple days. It will help us with the winter blues.
