Well, here is some of the sites we saw at the forest. This stump is about 8 ft high. Some say it is the remains of a Sequoia tree. It was really neat back in the forest.
Never shoot into the sun aways the sun behind or to the side of you. The shade you need to expose for the sky and use your flash to highlight the shade.
